Update 04/26/09

Well today we moved the puppies into the kennel so they would have more room. We left the door open to the outside area for them and they had a blast coming in to rest and going out to play. They have taken the move very well. These pictures were taken of them playing in the family room and sleeping on the dog bed when they get tired out.

Update 04/18/09

Well as you can see from these pictures the puppies are starting to eat, they are a little messy but tonight it wasn't as bad. They are eating great finishing everything I give them. After they eat I send Leah in to clean them off which she just loves. We are planning on moving them into our puppy run this week which will give them a lot of room to play.

Update 04/12/09

Hi everyone just a few more pictures of the puppies and as you can see the growth rate is incredible, they are up on their feet, can see and hear and are starting to play with each other and are making little barking sounds. Mom is being so good with them, she really loves her puppies.

Update 04/07/09

Here's a picture of the puppies in the holding box that we use when we are changing the papers and blanket in the whelping box. Take a look at the first one on this blog and notice how small the pile of puppies were and now they take up the whole box. There eyes are now open and I will try to get some pictures of their little faces on Thursday.

Update 04/05/09

Well as you can see the puppies are doing great and have gotten so big. There eyes should start to open tomorrow and they will begin to hear in about a week. Leah is doing a fantastic job and has started to spend a little time sleeping outside the whelping box. I will post more pictures after their eyes open.

Update 03/29/09

The puppies are doing great and Leah has settled in and is being a GREAT mom. As you can see they have really grown in just 6 days, they are double the size they were when they were born. I have 4 new photo's of them taken on Sunday and will take more later in the week.
